Meet the Board of Directors for Our Foundation
Since 1980 the Board Members for WSU Lewis County Master Gardener Foundation has upheld their mission to financially support the Lewis County Master Gardeners through innovative fundraising and sound financial management ensuring its operations are legal and accountable. Our funding helps our master gardener volunteers run our five demonstration gardens, plant clinics, youth outreach programs and scholarship funds. We work closely with the WSU Lewis County Extension to help facilitate educational outreach programs in our community.
The Board facilitates the exchange of ideas and information with WSU Extension and serves as advisor to the Lewis County Program Coordinator. The Board interacts with WSU Extension and reviews and approves the Memorandum of Agreement with Washington State University Extension on a regular basis to maintain a clear understanding of all roles and responsibilities to ensure the growth and success of the Master Gardener program in Lewis County.
