DESCRIPTION:Salkum Timberland Library Demonstration Garden\, 10am – Preserve heirloom varieties and ensure future harvests by mastering the art of seed saving. This class will explain seed collection\, processing\, and storage methods for vegetables\, herbs\, and flowers. Learn how to harvest viable seeds\, prevent cross-pollination\, and create a seed bank for sustainable gardening. \n\n\n\nPre-register 3-4 days prior to workshops to ensure there are enough materials and space. \n\n\n\nCall 360-740-1212 or email julie.pirtle@lewiscountywa.gov Monday-Thursday\, 9 am-3 pm.
